want 1366*768 resolution without installing the amd driver

my graphics card ( AMD Radeon HD 7500M/7600M Series ) is almost dead ,so I uninstalled the driver so I can use my pc without any problem , but I want 1366*768 resolution. with the (windows basic display driver) I can only get 1024*768 or 800*600 :/ , I don't wanna get performance I just want 1366*768 .pls is there any driver or option for this :)
(pls don't tell me to buy a new pc or fix graphics card cuz I will when I have enough money ) and thank you.

I'm wondering if we could get a little more detail on what the actual problem is. You say that your graphics card is almost dead so you uninstalled the driver, but then you expect a driver not designed specifically for your graphics card to do what the driver that is designed for your card cannot do....

Do you see how this sounds a bit odd?

So let's start here:

When you have the proper driver installed for the card - what is it that is not working to cause you to say that the card is almost dead? If we can understand exactly what the problem is then maybe we can try to come up with some workarounds or fixes for the problem.

Bear in mind that the basic driver is meant to only support the most basic modes just so that you can get into Windows and install the proper drivers or troubleshoot issues with the current configuration. If it is not offering you the ability to switch to 1366 x 768 resolution, than I just don't think it's going to happen with that driver.

Your computer specs indicate that the system is a laptop, so I understand that your options may be limited, but if you could provide a little more detail on what the issue is, then maybe we can come up with some sort of solution.

ill put the problem in pictures , I had the same problem before so I baked it and after 1 month it started to show some artifacts so I uninstalled the driver when i can still use the pc , now I installed the driver to show u and as u see i cant use the pc (pc shut down instantly when starting to boot ) ,I have to install windows again and try to stop the automatic driver update so I can use the pc again … btw in the pictures it shows that the current driver is intel hd graphics 4000 ,I installed it manually trying to find a solution but it didn't work ,but I remember that it was the basic driver when I reinstall windows when the graphics card was working ….
is it possible to bake it twice ? or is it possible to replace the graphics card?...my laptop model : Sony vaio SVE15136CFB even if it is possible I don't think its available choice in my country (Tunisia) so I hope there is other solution .thank u :)

I have kind of been through this myself. Especially the strange colours.
This information might not work for you but its always worth a try.

The colour issue and artifacts look like an RGB/HDMI colour range conflict. Intel graphics options should have a section which says 'Video'. This section has an option in there called 'Input range'. For a conflict free 1366x768 RGB selection you might have to change from 'limited Range' to 'Full Range'. That should sort your colour issues out.

You noted in your first post that the graphics adapter is an AMD but later installed an Intel graphics driver. Is this a system with dual AMD / Intel graphics?

You may want to consider trying to boot into safe mode just to see if video is working properly. If it works in safe then there likely is a driver or service problem in your current installation.

This is nonsense, the Basic display (WARP) driver resolution can be set directly in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\UnitedVideo\SERVICES\BASICDISPLAY

I based my post on Microsoft Answers similar issue where it turned out that UnitedVideo key is not really present in case of Basic Display driver (Source Here) , then he was directed to do it in safe mode and probable recreating some keys etc. which means it is not natively supported with disclaimers it may produce problems if wrongly edited so I guess this needs to be tested by someone and report back .

My answer would be. Just purchase a new GPU, or repair it. Might as well purchase a new GPU because it is not the most powerful beast in the bunch. You would have to order electronic parts
