    Very intersting..
I'm on external monitor at the moment and only way to fix my laptop screen was reverting to anything at or before 441.41..
talked to both nvidia and acer and nothing..

    Hey guys,

I've done some experimenting trying to recreate the issue but no luck thus far even after rolling back to the driver version I was running when it first appeared so I'm not sure exactly what fixed it for me but if I figure it out, I'll update the thread.
What solved it for you was updating your Intel driver ...

I haven't updated them since it didn't work when I updated them back then but they could try that and report back.

Bottom line guys , update your Intel driver , and make sure you are not running desktop version of Nvidia driver nor turning off Intel GPU .

What you have for Nvidia is a Laptop GPU , they rely on Optimus technology developed by Nvidia which lays the refresh rate management in the hands of Intel not Nvidia driver even if you have refresh rate management in Nvidia's control panel , it yet has limited control over refresh rate .

If you are not sure which Nvidia driver you are on and weather you installed the desktop version or the laptop one , it is better to fully uninstall the driver using DDU in safe mode with all its extras (Experience , Physx etc) then reinstall Laptop version of the driver .

    Cheers .
