Driver for 9800 GT Graphics Card

I am trying to fix my nephew's old Athlon PC which currently has a 9800GT in it. The driver's I have found either BSOD or black screen. If I connect the PC to the internet it downloads a driver which then black screens. Has anyone successfully set up this card on Windows 10?

It is one of my old cards, I doubt I have the CD for it. It's made by XFX. I did try a driver from NVidia's website.

    The W10 64/32 bit drivers listed by Nvidia are 341.74 - 342.01 (for 2015/16).
Download all of those and use the latest that works, GeForce 9 series.

After 10 years at some points the cooling must have failed, whilst there is some thermal protection that may not be fast enough to stop some damage in a worst case scenario with a 90w TDP Card.

You also have to consider the age of the MOBO components they don't last forever either.

Also in the MS Update Catalog
