nVidia cards and ClearType - Not that clear...

    Hello guys.

I have been trying (with little success) to fine tune screen output readability by invoking cttune.exe.
On my GTX 1070 card some white text (like the one inside nVidia CP) is displayed with an annoying greenish hue. I would like to know if there is some other way of tuning ClearType without cttune.exe.

I have seen other cards (even internal Intel ones and AMD) where ClearType is just fine out of the box.

Any ideas on how to tune it?

@Edwin's probably the best source for this sort of thing, if you ever seen some of his displays.
Make sure to note him on this.

ClearType tuning in Windows 10 is not for that purpose, that of course is Black text on white.
It works for me, in that respect, but not for everyone, apparently.

    Section 3 here:
    ClearType - Wikipedia

My screens are calibrated roughly colour and gamma and is the same using Integrated or Nvidia graphics. Eyes have been tested, and have roughly normal colour vision.

There is the eyes perception of white text surrounded by some Nvidia greens. ClearType will do nothing for that as it is a form of anti aliasing, edges rather than area.

I do not have those nVidia options as shown on Edwin's post, because my monitors are connected either using VGA or DVI. I have been unable to find any way to correct bad cleartype aliasing so far.
