    Im not a "gamer" ...........using 451.67 ( August ) still , works perfectly !
Madness to update these drivers , almost every week now............
I agree with you, I'm running a even older release and it runs Excellent .... 451.48 standard version.

I do keep a Nvidia folder on a spare drive that I keep all the latest updates on, incase I ever want to install one of them

Updated, and thankfully my monnie is not G-SYNC compatible. Not need the flicker!
My monitor IS G-Sync and its turned on, I have no flicker what so ever. Only time I turn it off is when I do some benching.

Reports suggest it's related to GTX 1080 Ti's, although I can see a couple of users reporting the same issue with RTX cards. Regardless, this driver seems to have a high number of cases, not good. Maybe the case numbers are higher because more people are installing this one because it's 'cyberpunk 2077 ready', most anticipated game this generation.

Added: It's already filed by Nvidia it seems. Hopefully a hotfix is imminent once a repro/test is done.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you run @60Hz by the way? And/or have Gsync? It could be an obscured bug leading to the monitor's firmware or high refresh rates. I've tracked close to 30 open cases now with GTX 1080 Ti's regarding it, that's why I asked in the first place.

I have a RTX 2080Ti and no flickering either after installing this new update. Anyhow, flickering issue can be fixed by putting the settings back to "Default" with the monitor's buttons. That's what I did some time ago back in July 2020 when I first bought my monitor a curved 31.5" Tuf Gaming Monitor from Asus (VG328H1B). It took me a week to find the solution.

    ----updated---

Sorry, I just checked and Monitor doesn't seem to be G-Sync compatible.
