I dunno. I read your other thread and I can't see why you are having an issue. I have a 3070 Ti and I am using the latest drivers with no problems at all. No resource hogging, high CPU usage, stuttering, or anything else. I suspect that there are a lot of people running the latest drivers with no issues, otherwise there would be a lot more complaints on this and the Nvidia forums.

I think you need to look elsewhere for your problem.
    Another forum?

The issue seems quiet a few people had and found that driver downgrading solved the problem.
Do a search "system resource Hog GPU1 - copy with newer Nvidia drivers" and you'll see.
    Or try this: https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport...dia_gpu_awake/
    OR
drivers - "System" using abnormal high CPU usage linked to NVIDIA graphic card - Super User

Competent answers or solutions to the issue are virtually non existent.
Since I did down grade the drivers all seems resolved.

However, my laptop, ZenBook Q536, who runs on the latest drivers for a Nvidia 1050 GTX does not seem to have the problem.
So it might be an hardware/architecture issue or simply the result of the German word concoction which so eloquently characterizes it: "Verschlimmbessern" ; to make something worse by constantly improving (aka update mania) it....

I had more issues with 545.xx and 546.xx drivers then with the current ones. The current ones are working like a dream. Also a 3070Ti user here and using a MSI Crosshare 15 notebook. Just checked, no problems like the links you have posted!

Nvidia drivers are okay, turns out there was some audio processing system tray applet that was a troublemaker
