    Newer is not better!

    I had a persistent system resource Hog GPU1 - copy needlessly taking resources and slowing down my system.
    turns out it has to do with the newer 55X. XX Nvidia drivers.
    Once I uninstalled and clean reinstalled the older driver version 546.65 the problem was gone!

    I dunno. I read your other thread and I can't see why you are having an issue. I have a 3070 Ti and I am using the latest drivers with no problems at all. No resource hogging, high CPU usage, stuttering, or anything else. I suspect that there are a lot of people running the latest drivers with no issues, otherwise there would be a lot more complaints on this and the Nvidia forums.

    I think you need to look elsewhere for your problem.
