Today I tried out the new support for RTX Video HDR and support for “Auto” setting for RTX Video Super Resolution after the last update(551.23) on my second system(old 6700K and 2080Ti setup) that I have connected to my Samsung 50" Crystal UHD 4K TU7179 tv. It actually does give better picture quality to SDR videos, and gets rid of that "dirty screen" effect where there is a slight faded look to the colors. The auto setting for super resolution doesn't ramp the GPU every time and oly uses the resources needed for the box size(full screen, theatre, or default).

Hi Cliff, you mean the RTX video enhancement on Nvidia CP with the W11 HDR setting? I guess it shows inactive until you are playing a video or game.

Yep, plus if the video is already, say 4K HDR the setting won't activate, it#s only on when needed.

Always bsod with the latest driver at reboot, random but frequent. I go back to version 546.65
