They put this driver out because they quietly released a new 12GB version of the 3080's today.
So they needed to put out a driver that actually supported it. As if anyone can actually buy one.

Whispers on the wind say that there will be a new 5xx.xx driver released for all on the 14th.

    peace

I dread to think what those new 3080 12GB's will cost in my neck of the woods.

Enough to make your nose bleed for a while.

Same anywhere on Planet Earth. Not sure about the prices on Mars, but probably higher.

With all that big dog revenue you would think they could find a way to build a few million of them and sell them for a reasonable price.

Might be cause the chips aren't available. They're all in cars sitting on ships that can't dock and unload to go to showrooms and lots where they will sit cause nobody can afford them if they could get to them without catching a bug.

And who knows if the problem can just "fix itself" over time without a jolly good recession where no one has any money to spend.

The studio driver 5.11.17 seem to have much lesser problem compare to GRD 5.11.23. Is it fine to use it for gaming purpose
since i would prefer standard driver as well.
