Security Bulletin: NVIDIA GPU Display Driver - October 2021

Also worth mentioning that the newest Studio Driver (472.39) which is already linked at OP, supports Kepler cards and Windows 7/8.

There is also reports that they have apparently discontinued STANDARD Drivers as well according to some reports aligning with Windows 11and that all Drivers must be DCH based.
Any indication whether that will for both Game Ready and Studio drivers or just Game Ready? The latest Studio driver (472.39) is available in both formats. I'm currently running Standard Studio drivers in my main systems, but could switch to DCH if needed.

I think standard drivers are on their way out. I update drivers through GFE and it automatically swapped me from standard to DCH three or four builds ago.

the article I read said that starting with NVIDIA Game Ready WHQL driver 496.49 version that would be the case ,
not that I had any issues with 472.39 , either GR or Studio which I also run on my CAD Workstation normally.

GeForce hotfix display driver version 496.61 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 496.49.

The hotfix addresses the following issues:
    • [Transport Fever/Transport Fever 2] Game will crash to desktop on startup [3411731/3409614]
    • [Detroit Become Human] Users may experience micro-stutters during gameplay [3389250]
    • [Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon] Visual artifacts may be observed during gameplay [3410593]
    • [WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship/RiMS Racing/TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2] Game will crash to desktop soon after being launched [3409320/3416650/3408673]

At least they finally fixed the artifacts
