    Nvidia MX150 2GB Code 43 on Windows 10 x64 19002 vb_release

    Hello,

I am running an HP Spectre X360 Laptop with 16gb Ram and Core i7-8550u processor. The system comes with Intel UHD Graphics 620 as well as 2GB Nvidia Mx150 Graphics.

My Nvidia Mx150 Graphics has been giving me a code 43 for the past several "builds" as released by Windows. I have tried using the Windows Update and Search online for Updated Driver option with no result, I have downloaded the Nvidia Hotfix Driver 430.97 from the nvidia site and installed the same and it has not solved my problem. The Nvidia Mx150 refuses to work and the error code 43 refuses to go away.

I tried restoring to an earlier build but the problem doesn't go away. The laptop is my primary computing device and i cannot reformat the same and start afresh. The Intel UHD Graphics 620 in comparison is working fine.

I have read all the threads on this topic online and tried every solution apart from the reformat of the PC and nothing seems to be working. Therefore any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Intel card plays the gate way for your nvidia card to work , so i suggest you install the intel driver from your laptop manufacturer support site even if outdated , while downloading latest nvidia driver from nvidia geforce website after uninstalling any installed driver and deleting the device , unplugging from the internet (to stop windows from downloading from catalog) , restarting , then installing new one .

P.S nvidia now has several versions of their drivers , standard , studio and DCH all showing on driver page of geforce drivers website , if your problem after all this persisted , try installing different version of the driver see if it integrates better because some windows builds are allergic to certain nvidia variants .

    Thank you for your help!

i have tried the following steps 1. I installed the original Intel UHD 620 drivers downloaded from the HP Support Site (outdated) and restarted the PC. 2. I then installed the original NVIDIA drivers as downloaded from the HP Support site. During the installation, on the Device Manager, the Nvidia Mx150 briefly showed as installed but then in a few seconds the code 43 error was seen. 3. I have then installed the regular driver from the nvidia site 431.68 and restarted the pc. However I am still facing the Mx150 Code 43 issue.

well while the solution i gave you seems the only valid trouble shoot before having to reset your laptop , there is this to note , there lay the possibility the chip busted because hp doesnt provide a good cooling system , it had been reported several times on their website https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebo...205705#M196679 , so i guess you have to visit their service center and see .
