You do have PX1 installed? Is so, yes.....turn on fan curve and set to to auto. Click on the auto fan to turn it on (should go blue), then click the arrow tab to the right of that and set the cure. Then go to settings cog and make sure you have "start with OS" box chcked.

When you game and the GPU is called into action the fans will speed up according to the fan curve. I've played crysis, crysis 2 and crysis 3 all on max settings and my GPU never went above 55C and played beautifully. At idle, as you can see my temp is 27C. It's usually around 25C and really quite.

The 2060 is spec'd to throttle at 88C.

I think that 58C under load is OK.

If you're anxious about that, follow Plankton's advice and use Precision X to set a fan profile that brings up the fan speed at lower temperature.fans on geforce2060 rtx si ultra start at 57c to 58c is that too hot-precision_x1.jpg As stated, you'd have to have Precision X run at startup to apply the profile (or run P. X manually and load the profile).

I suggest that you experiment to see whether you can get significant cooling without too much additional noise. My fan starts to get noisy above 60%.
