    Is there a way to send video to tv (as 2nd display )using HDMI cable


    I'm hoping there's a way to send a video from a Chrome tab to the tv using an HDMI cable while I'm doing other stuff on the computer monitor. Is this even possible? At the moment, everything on the computer is mirrored on the tv.

    Yes. After you've connected your TV, click the Action Center and the the Project tile, then select Extend:

    You can then drag the browser window onto the Tv screen, and maximize the video there, while doing other tasks on your primary monitor.

Per the title, I run my computer through my TV using an HDMI cable. Sound works brilliantly on Windows 8.1 but after upgrading to Windows 10, I'm left without audio, and in the sound settings it doesn't show HDMI as an available device. Ideas?
