Just thought I'd share - I was here as I was having intermittent lockups whilst browsing and was convinced the graphics driver was partly to blame. Acer site had not been updated since August 2015, so I was looking for new drivers.
Anyhow, to cut a long story short I removed (and deleted) the graphics drivers from Device Manager until 'Microsoft Basic Graphics Adapter' was showing. Then I ran the new Intel Driver Update Utility 126.96.36.199 and it installed a W10 driver which was then subsequently updated via a Windows Update. The machine has behaved flawlessly since.
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...ml?iid=dc_iduu for the new driver utility (the old one had a vulnerability that has been patched)
My laptop received Windows Update - Intel Graphic Driver Update notification.
Anyone receive this update? Any problems after installed?
Currently had 188.8.131.52.4300 [4th Gen] installed.
Just finished installing version .4364 on my pc.
Will report back if any problems arise.
