HDMI adapters---- lack of small females?

I have not had much success in finding an HDMI adapter / connector to connect my phone which has USB C, to a cable which has a mini HDMI plug (or is it micro, how can I tell?). I come across any number of mini males, but not mini females, only large ones ------- which seem a strange gender imbalance. At the other end the USB connection is easier as I have ways of connecting USB C to Standard size, and OTG if necessary (is it?). I have searched Ebay and others with little success. Links to where I can find what I need would be appreciated.

you can achieve a lot of combos to reach whatever setup you need using a female to female adapter (they are not being sexists after all) https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-...4933&s=gateway , just a question what are you trying to achieve ? a threesome ?

Are you sure your phones USB C port provides video out?

Why not just go with this:

Thanks for the suggestions but are they the right size? They are not referred to as mini femail are they? They are Standard are they not? I find scores of these or similar -----

''HDMI female to mini HDMI type C male adapter converter'' which are not mini size, they will not connect to my mini HDMI cable. If they do not state mini for the female connector they are standard size, the assumed default as with USB connectors. If you know otherwise please let me know.

You might need to get a regular full sized HDMI cable.

I have the mini plug cable because the HDMI socket on my PC is a mini socket! which means it is an elusive female! It stretches from my TV across the lounge to the computer --- I don't want another one. If I can't get it to connect to a USB plug I expect Chromecast will have to do instead, it works OK but I would like to see how it compares with HDMI, plus I like to have at least 2 different ways to do the same thing ---- there is a term for this which I cannot remember now.

i donno if you got the idea but here is an example of which :

USB C to HDMI >=====< Female to Female HDMI >=====< HDMI to Mini HDMI

    or

USB C to HDMI >=====< Female to Female HDMI >=====< HDMI to HDMI 10+ meter extension cable >=====< Female to Female HDMI >=====< HDMI to Mini HDMI

    etc

My local DIY store (UK) has Mini/Micro HDMI plugs to HDMI socket adapters, and HDMI/HDMI couplers(back to back sockets), angled HDMI adapters (plug to socket).
    Also USB-C to USB 3 leads data/sync/charge.

i.e. you replace your USB-C plug or Mini HDMI plug to HDMI plug lead with either an adapter and HDMI lead components, or a lead with USB-C/Mini/Micro HDMI plug to HDMI socket.
It is easier to find suitable components once you use standard HDMI components.
e.g. for Mini HDMI to HDMI.

    This for the PC:

Then a standard HDMI cable, and the USB-C to standard HDMI adapter for the cell phone.
