Strange issue this AM booting in

Not sure if anyone can shed some light on what may have happened but here's the scenario... I get up and boot the computer. I have a two monitor set up. One of things I totally hate about this new rig is that the secondary monitor was somehow set as the default at boot and when it's fully on the logon screen THEN the big monitor that do my main work from becomes the default. I have no idea how to change that.

Anyway so the screen never comes on. I'm thinking "I was just watching NetFlix last night on the computer so WTF" so took both panels off of the case, check connections, reconnect all that... Same issue. Computer is humming along, the gaming lights all on, blah blah blah.. still have a black screen. So with the computer on I begin taking out the HDMI connectors and reconnecting them. Then turn off the computer and just leave the one I usually use for my work plugged in. Nothing. So then I just leave the secondary monitor plugged in, finally I get a screen, then I plug in the primary monitor and finally have my full desktop showing.

So trying to evaluate this... could my new video card already be failing me? I have no idea what to think of all this strangeness. Not how I like starting my morning. I don't think I need coffee now! LOL

Strangely enough when I went on Facebook 4 other folks I know had the exact same thing happen to them AND another guy I know from a local cafe' had that happen to him as well. Mercury Retrograde or just some weird thing going on happening to 6 folks all in the same day? It's resolved. After I spent 1/2 hour unplugging, rebooting and cuss and praying it's fine and strangely enough my main monitor now is the main boot screen! I guess unplugging the second monitor, booting in and then hot plugging in the second smaller monitor must have put the monitors in the right order. Thanks the link!
