    Can I automate screen resolution

    I have W10

I generally use the recommended display resolution (1920 X 1080).

However there is one program I have where that resolution is unsatisfactory.

So I have to always change that resolution, and then change it back when I am done with that program.

Is there any way to set things up so this is done automatically?

It sounds great via the description.
    I d/l it.
    It's an .exe file.
But when I click on it, nothing happens.

You are correct on a level , i have installed it to a fresh installation of windows and it didn't run despite working on a different pc i have .

I analysed the exe by DependsyWalker only to realize for it in order to work it relays heavily on a massive set of dlls named in the format API-MS-WIN-(various-names)-L1-1-0.dll

I searched the PC that has it working on and they all turn out to be installed in a folder called system32\downlevel

Researching this further and i found out that those probably were installed by a particular Visual C++ redistribution package which sadly i have em all installed to determine which one in particular provided those dlls .

So I guess this isn't as brainless i thought it to be and i do not suggest you waste time on attempting to install all visual c++ libraries out there cause it ain't worth it not unless someone here is familiar with that set of API dlls and their particular package installer.

I suggested a method (was post #2) which would do exactly what you want but no comment so I deleted it.
