    hdmi not working

I am asking about this again because I never got a solution.

When I plug in the hdmi cable between my desktop PC and my big screen tv, things can get a little crazy. That means nothing will open full screen on the pc monitor. Therefore I can not immolate what is on the monitor to the big screen tv.

It has been suggested that I don't have the right drivers or no drivers at all for the hdmi.

Does anyone know how to update these drives?
    Thank you.

You can use Driver Easy to find missing/outdated drivers.

Once you know the name and version number, download it here: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com

Thanks TairikuOkami I expect eventually I will have to try Driver Easy. I was told it did NOT fix this problem, but who the heck knows.

Hopefully I have a better description of what is happening.

This install of Windows 10 Home came from a download from Microsoft. I had another install from a source I don't know where it came from, but it had some bad issues I did NOT want to deal with, but the hdml did work on it. I installed this version hoping it would fix the problems the other one had. It did fix those problems but NOW I have this problem.

Here a screen shot of what happens when the HDML cable is connected from the PC to the TV.

As the image indicates, all those applications were open. Absolutely none will show full screen. If I right-click on an empty space on the main screen and select anything, nothing happens. With HDML plugged in, I tried typing CTRL-P hoping it would allow me to see two displays, but again NOTHING happened.

I have updated my display drivers and that did NOT change anything.

It has me absolutely stumped at the present time. Even my PC guru is stumped for now.

I can not think of anything else to try.

If anyone has suggestions I am open to trying almost anything.

    Thanks inadvance.
