New graphics card on older system?

My PC is quite old(see specs) but the graphics card I think is pretty bad. I'm leaning on getting RX 4xx-5xx cards from AMD since my PC can power them pretty well but I'm not sure if it will work. However, I'm not sure if this will work since I found other people having issues with using recent AMD cards on their older systems.

I have no personal experience with the combination that you suggest.

Your motherboard has an H55 chipset, which supports PCI-E 2.0. I wouldn't expect a current PCI-E 3.0 card to have trouble with it.

If you can get a graphics card from a source with a generous return policy, just in case, that would be best.

I guess the best way to go about it is try and just return if it fails. Thanks.
