How to re enable my monitor

Help, I think I’ve ruined hubbys pc! I was trying to connect a second monitor on windows 10. Tried to update display on device manager. Didn’t work. On a forum someone suggested rather than update to disable then re enable but once I pressed disabled the screen went black and now I can’t get anything up. I’ve tried to reboot and remove pc battery but nothing works. Help help help.

Hi, you need to boot to safe mode, try like this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...c-in-safe-mode
Use option "From black or blank screen".

No, nothing. Screen still black. I can see monitors are on, pc turns on but nothing on screen. As in, I can’t get safe mode to come up

If you can't see BIOS screen or Logo than it's something due to hardware/BIOS settings. Can you post some hardware details like motherboard and graphic card models ?
