HDMI Conflict

I have an HDMI port on my PC case and when I connect an HDMI cord from the case to my big screen tv and then reboot, NOTHING seems to work. At times when I make that connection and don't reboot, things seem to work fine.

I updated my display drivers and that did NOT seem to help the issue.

I know before I reinstalled Windows 10 this did NOT occur. This makes me think it is something in this version of Windows 10 causing the issue.

Does anyone have a clue how to fix this issue?

It is a desktop pc and Windows 10 is a fresh install. Before the newest install of Windows, I could use the hdmi and the only issue I had with it was the sound did not go to my big screen tv. The sound was coming from my pc speakers.

If I plug in the hdmi cord, I don't think it causes a problem until I reboot the pc. It is really weird how this is working.

I guess I need to get a video and try watching on the big screen tv. I know how to make the tv mimic the monitor or at least I did know.

I just don't understand why it is doing what it is doing and it is difficult explain what it is doing. When it is acting up I can not do screen shots to show any one.

Oh Well, maybe we can get it going one of these days.
