    Cannot delete nVidia driver installation from computer deskop


    I downloaded the 430.64 nVidia driver to my desktop. I am now trying to delete the installer file, but right-clicking on it crashes explorer.exe.

    Trying to drag it to the recycle bin also does nothing. I tried rebooting and retrying, but had no luck... I was able to move it to another folder, but even BitDefender file shredder could not delete it...

    What do I do?

    I moved it into a folder C:/delete. I tried to delete the folder and shred the folder, but that did not work.

    I restarted and then tried to shift+delete the folder very soon after startup, without opening the folder. It worked. Apparently, this is an old issue (https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...d-driver-file/).
