    18885 - wrong display make/model recognized - display issues

upon installing 18885.rs_prerelease.190419-1606 the build is recognizing my ultrawide LG 34UM57 monitor as an Acer model. i now have no nvidia driver support for my evga gtx 980 sc acx 2.0. thus resulting in improper resolution and an all around poor display performance.
    any ideas?

have downloaded monitor specific drivers, etc.

Hi, did you try using DDU Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.1.1 to uninstall old drivers and then install proper drivers from Nvidia ? Monitors are recognized by GPU drivers.

yes i did. and did a clean install on several nvidia driver versions, nvidia control panel refused to load up on all of them. had to resort to rolling back. first time i've had to do a roll back since joining the insider program, and i've largely had positive/good with all the previous builds. this is the first one that i've encountered a major issue like this on. will give it a week and re roll it in hopes that some updated driver support has been released.
