Having trouble getting UHD movies to play - Can my Laptop handle it?

I assume you have the video on the PC not streaming converting it to MP4 as post 4 will prove if the format is the problem

I do not see a link to download anything to post results with unfortunately.

MPC-HC seems to be the most watchable player at the moment but it still freezes up at random times. Unfortunately PowerDVD is a complete waste of money and completely freezes after about 30 seconds. I am playing mkv files that are already downloaded, I am not streaming.
