Latest drivers do not actually support the GT630 despite the information given. These cards along with all 'Fermi based' variants are no longer supported. The last driver to offer support and therefore install properly was version 391.35.

I would suggest the OP makes sure the card is seated properly in the slot.
I checked separately. No Fermi support. I wonder why nVidia lists support (both on the web page and release notes)? Rather sloppy.

As regards fake GT 630s, that's amazing. Seems like the moral equivalent of counterfeiting a $20 bill. I guess that in some parts of the world, no thievery is too trivial.

Some AIO Desktops have Laptop MOBOs inside and use Nvidia Optimus. Which is why people should state exactly what they have.

Nvidia changes the die used for nominally the same Video chipset. You can find a list of the actual dies used in the various versions of the same card, a GPU identification application will show the die used on an installed Card.

This has happened on other Nvidia Graphics chipsets when the fab process is being changed to a smaller process. The die number changes, but not the name, GT 630 or whatever Card is involved. They may also pack in more features with the smaller fab process, thus the cards maybe somewhat different, hence different driver compatibility.

Nvidia does not put in all the details as very few consumers will understand what it is all about.

I have had this sort of compatibility problem with some Samsung RAM modules as well, however their long model name has the die number in there.

Going back to the OP the Nvidia driver for the GT 630 card is in the MS update catalogue so a suitable one should be installed by going to MS updates, there is a number of suitable older ones.

As the Graphics Card is quite old it may have gone out of spec, or some minor damage, so might the PCI-E slot on the MOBO.

    Right.

But do any of those AIOs differ from a laptop by having a full sized PCI-E X16 slot for a discrete graphics card available? (That's not a rhetorical question.) I assume that a laptop motherboard would have the same limitations as a laptop, but I can't swear to that.
