Hi friend, I tested your controller and it's great, I could play minecraft because it had opengl2.1, but now I have a problem, I'm studying architecture at a university for free, now my problem is that I need to run 3d modeling programs and I need a program Specifically and this requires opengl 3.0 or higher, I just need your help, I don't know if you could make a driver with opengl 3.0 or higher, since I have low resources and I do not count to buy a graphics card or a better pc, I have a hp compaq dc7900 ssf, I hope you can help me, have a nice day wherever you are.

I think there's an OpenGL to DirectX wrapper (converter) that you could use, but it would be very slow.
opengl 3.0 to directx wrapper - Google Search
I'm afraid you should upgrade to a newer laptop for these demanding applications...
I have answered this often but here we go again , a driver works as a middle man , the 3D program request running a function from driver the driver pass that request to GPU , if the GPU does not have that function it will reply nothing and even glitch , so bottom line shifting to higher OpenGL version require the GPU to have the supporting functions and this GPU does not .
The difference between OpenGL versions is that every new generation cover new functions introduced to newer GPUs and they do not come backward compatible with older GPUs .
There used to be developers who tried to write software emulations for missing functions in GPUs but they all stopped very long ago because it was a very difficult process that required a lot of coding and hard math and kept getting more complicated with each release of OpenGL as newer functions became so many so mostly all has discarded that sort of work as you realize it consumes life without any financial return , mind you people kept nagging them that the software emulation is slow .
My driver comes to produce maximum performance for what this GPU can handle just but not to elevate its support .
So bottom line , if you are asking for higher level function support , nothing can help but buying a new GPU / Laptop .
In that GPU forcing OpenGL 3.0 would involve to implement unsupported functions in software making it slower. Your only option is if there is a wrapper that can translate OpenGL 3.0 calls to DirectX calls, but again I would not expect native OpenGL 3.0 performance. Sorry, you really must upgrade (or replace) your system to run these applications.
Wrappers do nothing but translate the function name found in OpenGL to that of DirectX , then DirectX pass it to GPU , if the function still do not exist on GPU it will error and glitch .
Wrappers do not do any simulated work or magic since 2008 , they now revolve around creating converter files just in case Microsoft one day drop OpenGL support just like Apple is doing right now so we have an alternative ready that is more efficient a than a virtual machine .
Can't you just configure the application to use DirectX instead of OpenGL?
I have no plans to touch the driver further , it works well with store games and OpenGL games version 2.1 , if a game or 2 glitch with a driver that is acceptable with even Intel . In opening post I never promised magic of making this compete with top end GPUs , just that I will squeeze it to the max and that's about what I did , moving on now .
I was asking if the user can use the application/game with DirectX instead of OpenGL. I wasn't referring to the custom driver. Is this application/game OpenGL only? If it also supports DirectX, give it a try.
I confirm that your custom driver also works in Windows 11 Insider's Preview v21H2 64-bit. Thanks.
PS: I don't know if that is also valid for Windows 10, but in 11 the Microsoft WDDM 1.0 driver is not optional, so it replaced the custom driver without asking. To prevent that, make sure you hide (block) the driver update using the Windows Update Show/Hide Tool after installing the custom driver.
Update: The driver also works in the official release of Windows 11.
