Yes, I meant to convert OpenGL to DirectX. It is a little weird though a Windows game to support OpenGL but not DirectX. Are you sure? It must have a DirectX mode, look better.

Found it! An OpenGL to DirectX Wrapper: WineD3D For Windows - Federico Dossena

Oh no! I was too fast to celebrate... this is just another wrapper to run DirectX applications on OpenGL, the opposite of what we want.

What about running OpenGL applications in software? I know, this is not going to be very fast, but it could at least let you do it...

I have researched the wrappers option and it is not a solution to anything , the Mesa3D use CPUs emulation and that renders things so slow judging that CPUs of this generation were not even multithreaded mind you non iCore mind you not even quad core so the end result is awful

On the other hand I was able to locate an OpenGL to DX9 wrapper that is deeply hidden in the web but then before celebrating it resolves nothing , you see it manages to report to all programs that may use it the current OpenGL version installed then later do the translation from OpenGL to DX9 Apis , this backfires from 3 directions : 1 - That it does not forge OpenGL level so programs that wouldn't run because of need of higher OpenGL version won't run still since they get the feed back they are still on same OpenGL version , 2 - Translation process make the system lag since it uses CPU/RAM/BUS , 3 - No support for DX9.1+

Apart from me porting driver 2555 OpenGL's support over my driver which he claims solve things for him , I need to hint you that yet again what you are asking for is to make this GPU compete with concurrent GPUs so hate to say it but please snap out of it

@ nIGHmAYOR : I registered an account here, on tenforums, just to say "THANK YOU !" for the time and effort to give us, the common people, a final performance upgrade for the old, antique GMA 4500.

For so long I used (and still do) a Small Form Factor Lenovo PC (a ThinkCentre M58) just for playing low-requirements and retro PC games, or just browsing the internet and using it as a HTPC (sort of), and your driver helped me a LOT !

So, thank you, good sir, for doing this for free, using you limited time and energy for giving us this last chance to use something I never dreamed we could use again !

    You. Are. Awesome !

First I had Windows 10, now I have Windows 11 on my Acer laptop (Intel Dual Core CPU, 4GB RAM, Intel GMA 4500 graphics). Upon installing your custom Intel graphics drivers, performance is boosted. Thanks.
