I have a Dell SE2416H external monitor going black for a few seconds. This will happen 3 or 4 time within 5 minutes and not again for a one or two hours. I have a Dell Laptop 15-5567 connected with a Moread MDMI adapter.
I am not even sure how to troubleshoot this.

I would go to a graphic problem, are your drivers updated ?
Use Windows Key + R
> type "devmgmt.msc"
> Deploy graphic card category
> Right click on your and then update the drivers
Foremost, you should create a restore point if anything goes wrong :)
Yseurk - Thanks for your reply and suggestion.
I used Dell Update to install all drivers a few days ago and still had the problem. I just did what you suggested and it found a update to the graphic card. It installed but I will have to wait and see if it will work.
Will let you know in the next day or so.
