    Can't Get 4k Display Resolution...


    have my nuc (intel hd graphics 6000 with latest drivers) connected to a 3200x1800 4k hdr monitor and can't get a resolution beyond 1920x1080 to display nor can i get hdr to turn on in windows... alos, the cable connecting the nuc to the display is 4k rated... ran dxdiag and this is what was returned:

    it's the nuc5i5ryk.... since my post i found this from intel's website:

    The integrated graphics in this processor supports Max Resolution:
    (HDMI 1.4) 2560 X 1600 @ 60Hz
    (DP) 3840x2160@60Hz.

    If you want to get a higher resolution you will need to lower the refresh rate. You could be able to get 4096 x 2160 at 24 Hz or maybe 30Hz with HDMI straight connection.

    Intel does not validate for the Intel® NUC any adapters, converter etc. If you want to get the resolution you wish, you will need to use straight connection.

    i'm using the dp connection so i should be able to see, and select, my monitor's native rez of 3200 x 1800 given intel's comments above...
