Tom's Hardware does a pretty good job, too. I wrote for them from 1999/2000 through the end of that decade.

Didn't Tom left the company years ago? Tom's hardware has proven to be unreliable and biased to get free treatment from manufacturers and board partners. Their RTX coverage should be telling enough of how this company really operates. Independent meta reports of video cards from multiple sources is the second best option in this case. The first being actual hands-on experience. Never trust one review, benchmark or comparison of any hardware.

Tom did leave back in the 2000s. I still know the motherboard and GPU reviewers and I haven't found their work to be unduly biased. YMMV, I guess.

I was referring to Avram Piltch and his "Just Buy It: Why Nvidia RTX GPUs Are Worth the Money" article. It's still hard to read even today. It even blew up and caused a bit of a controversy if I remember correctly.

I've had GPUReview bookmarked for a long time now. But notice they only go up to the GTX980 and stop. Not a 10 series card to be found!

I like GPUBoss. It's the side-by-side comparison I like to use.

    I saw that one!
I like this chart even better!
PassMark Videocard Value Chart - Performance / Price of Videocards

I like to compare the card specs side by side to make a best bang for the buck decision.

Great. I hope it helps. I usually use it for comparisons although I don't take it as absolute.
