    Update WHQL to DCH Driver

I've already installed latest Intel HD Graphics WHQL version 25.20.100.6373, but it keeps pop up me with warning igfxEM.exe App error box (the instruction at 0x0007FFF90D90A03 referred memory at 0xFFF... The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program) every time I turn on/restart my laptop.

Shouid I update to Intel HD Graphics DCH version 25.20.10.6519 or any else solutions?

And if I change from WHQL to DCH for Intel HD Graphics, should I also change my nVidia driver to DCH or it's ok if I still use standard version?

    Note:
    My laptop is running win 10 1809 64 bit, core i7 6700HQ.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi. WHQL has not much to do with the driver model as it's only a digital signature. Standard driver is fine, but you cannot overwrite a standard driver to DCH or vice versa. You need to perform a completely clean installation or have the DCH driver pre-installed on a laptop. A igfxEM.exe error relates to an executable error with the Intel Common User Interface (ICU). When did this start to happen? Did you install the driver from Intel? You need a driver-set from your laptop manufacturer.

    Thank you, Faith.

It happened after cumulative update KB4476976 (17763.292).

Yes, I always install driver from Intel because latest driver from the vendor (asus) is very old and not compatible for win 10 RS5.

Is there any solutions without update to DCH driver? Or maybe it is ok to ignore the error till next cumulative update?
