Issue Occuring with Windows 10 when TV Monitor is in Enhanced HDMI
Hello,
I'm having an occasional issue that pops up specifically on Windows 10 when my TV Settings are set to Enhanced HDMI. (Apologies that the image is popping up sideways. It shows the right side up on my PC but it's getting reformatted when I upload it here.) The TV is a Sony XBR55850D, but I believe the issue to be on the Windows side, not the TV itself.
Basically, the screen will start to spazz out for about a minute before going back to the way it should be. It only does this in Windows, I've tested my PlayStation 4 Pro and Nintendo Switch and my Cable Box on the same Enhanced setting and there is never an issue. I've tried a different 4K-Certified Cable (Monster Brand to be 100%) and the issue persists. I've tried it on different HDMI Inputs and the issue persists (The cable is plugged in to HDMI 3 at the moment.) I also had the main board on my Television replaced and the issue still persists which leaves me thinking that it might be a problem with Windows. This issue doesn't just occur in Diablo 3, it will occur anywhere in Windows, even on the Desktop when nothing is open. The issue is resolved if I change the HDMI Setting out of Enhanced HDMI, but I'd prefer stay in that setting. Also, I recently upgraded from the 980 Ti to the 2080 Ti and I'm still getting the same issue.
I managed to record the issue in action, so if anybody recognizes this, I'd be interested in hearing what the problem might be and how it can be fixed.
