curious, where is the downloaded nvidia setup file?

nvidia said it had an updated driver, so I clicked run, but when I go to view in folder from edge, folder is empty? So where does it go?

Also name of file did not mention windows 10?
But it is installing now anyway.

    Hi.

You should find what you are looking for in this structure.

    C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2\

    Thanks @kado897

Thanks, so this 545mb can be deleted?
It just left this on the disk to waste a lot of space?

If the new driver works fine , you can delete the previous , which saves diskspace.........

    For what it's worth:

    1. There's another place where GBs are lost - typically under C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Downloader

Why Does NVIDIA Store Gigabytes of Installer Files On Your Hard Drive?

Last but not least: worth removing obsolete driver versions (GBs of possibly reclaimable space again) from driver store:

GitHub - lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer: DriverStore Explorer [RAPR]

Please handle any such deletions in driver store with utmost care though!
