updated Intel HD 630 but Resolution problem

I updated Intel HD graphics 630 because windows said it was anew version. But after I restarted my laptop which native resolution is 1980 x 1080 was stuck at 1366 x 768. under that it was lines and a single line in the middle. i went to the display setting and the resolution was grayed out but 1366 x 768 was the recommended resolution. it wouldn't let me roll back to a previous version either. sometimes it would randomly go back to 1980 x 1080 but there be a block of grey at the bottom idk what to do anymore

I got the Acer predator Helios 300
Intel HD Graphics 630 & NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
    Intel Core i7-770HQ

What happens when you uninstall the Intel HD Graphics 630 driver?

A driver rollback is an easy proposition to describe that sometimes proves harder to implement. Glad you found an older driver that does what you need it to do. I now routinely keep older graphics drivers in the Driver Store (always one version back, sometimes more than one), so I can use the built-in Rollback function in Device Manager.
    Good work!
