The only thing that's changed is you had done a clean Windows 10 64-bit OS install.
--- I've haven't done that yet so I have to ask, is it activated?
--- The Samsung curved monitor CF390 ran ok when you had Windows 10 32-bit.
--- I don't know why it would matter but I don't want to lose track of that.

Is this your Samsung curved monitor CF390?

--- Are you using VGA interface?
--- I tried to find the manual for it but was unsuccessful.

Hey hi, that was quick!! Yep the only thing that changed was the clean Windows 10 64-bit OS install. Which is activated and everything else is working fast and perfectly

Yes when on 32bit the monitor worked perfectly and had the correct resolution

Yes its Samsung curved monitor CF390

Yes its connected with VGA not HDMI

    3 out of 3 :)

You should be using HDMI, VGA is a legacy port.

You can easily choose wrong values for VGA it is not just about resolution. It won't send EDID either.
Quite a proportion of people bend over the pins in the VGA connectors.

The driver file containing the INF and ICM profiles is here. You just install the C32F391FW.inf from within that self extracting ZIP file. Don't think you need the larger Samsung_MonSetup_091006.exe probably just bloat.

Normally Windows updates finds those and installs the INF.
It just tells Windows what modes the monitor supports so you can't set it to wrong values, not essential.

Hi Helmet, thanks for the suggestion. I already installed that driver yesterday and it didnt fix the issue. My desk top doesnt have a HDMI output that's why Im using VGA. But I have ordered a VGA converter to HDMI on eBay that plugs into the VGA output at the back of the desk top and sends HDMI to the monitor

It all seems to come back to the graphics driver ?

Hi, see below for the details. The comp is probably about 4 or 5 years old. I think there is a way to check the exact display adaptor details by running a command?
Looks like it is the old Nvidia nForce 410/430 onboard video. If that is the case the best you are going to find for a 64 bnit driver is the last Vista driver,

    NVIDIA

as Nvidia dropped support for it years ago.

That explains the issue. An ancient graphics device.
