How to re-sort video cards by order of merit

I have a GeForce GTX 1050. I use this mostly for my games. Recently, I turned on the built-in Intel HD Graphics 610 to try and use the Quick Sync Video features, but after installing its drivers, now, the HD Graphics is in Slot 0 and the GTX 1050 is in Slot 1 (according to Task Manager).

How do I re-sort it where the Geforce is in slot 0, and the IGD is in slot 1 instead of the other way around?

You don't need to, an iGPU will be given 0, it is not in a slot as such. A PCI-E Graphics Card will be an actual PCI-E Slot.

Not that it matters as in general it will default to a PCI-E Graphics Card. Though you had better check in the UEFI/BIOS that the setting is that.

    Check your MOBO manual p.29 > Initial Display Output > PCI-E 1 slot > PCI-E x16 slot as first display(default).
    Save and Exit.

You will have to change over the monitor lead to the PCI-E Card socket as well.

The Nvidia Driver may have an Option for the "Preferred Graphics Adaptor" Similar to a laptop

you may also be able to right click , for example a Game's Icon and choose Run with Nvidia Processor.

Not with the MOBO listed in the OPs specs for System One.

Some Laptops or some Desktops/AIOs with a Laptop type MOBO hardware inside have the Optimus system.

The logical labels are 0 for the integrated, and 1 for the additional Card.
It is just a label, they don't need re-ordering.

The defaults for the Optimus system are changed in the Nvidia Control Panel. In this case the video output socket is common to both.
The Nvidia driver only installs Optimus components for compatible hardware.

No it won't change the Order , you are right, I was assuming he was having issues with games using the wrong GFX adaptor and thought the Nvidia or Intel Driver may supply an Option similar to Optimus if both GFX cards are active.
