Hi there. I received the item and connected it to my monitor and it seems to work.

    Few questions i have.

I put the monitor that i connected on the left side of the monitor that i currently use. So its like this... my laptop screen, then monitor 1 and monitor 2. At the moment, all the chrome windows and everything that opens up with the task manager is on my original monitor that im using thats on the right side. How do i make the monitor on the left the main monitor? Windows 10 i use.

    1. Highlight the monitor you want to set up.
    2. Check "Make this my main display" then click "apply".

Hi there. So that 2nd asus monitor i used... it suddenly stopped working. Does anyone have tips on what i can do to test if the monitor is 100 percent done? A while back this happened when electricity went out, then when it came back only monitor didn't turn back on. Brought it to repair shop and they said it no longer works. Then not that long ago, i decided to connect it to outlet and it strangely worked. But it was not that long and when this happened, both my monitors turned off... and only the other one turned back on.

Anyone know how i can test if my asus is 100 percent not working? However, a while back this happened and then it worked again.

Hey all got another question. My monitor stopped working and i have to get another monitor. I will post this from amazon.com though it would be bought from another amazon site country but its the same one as that model is same as this.

Amazon.com: ASUS C624BQ monitior: Computers Accessories

What cable would i need to connect my laptop to this one? Because i googled these but reviews say the 1st 2 won't work because it only goes one way? Thus the monitor has display port so the 1st 2 is no good?

Amazon.com: AmazonBasics DisplayPort to HDMI Cable - 6 Feet: Computers Accessories

Amazon.com: Cable Matters Unidirectional DisplayPort to HDMI Cable (DP to HDMI Cable) 6 Feet: Electronics

But this is what i would need?

Amazon.com: USB C to DisplayPort Cable (4K@60Hz), uni Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort Cable Compatible MacBook Pro 2018/2017, iPad Pro, Dell XPS 15/13, Surface Book 2, Pixelbook and More-Gray, 6FT/1.8m(Not HDMI: Electronics

Also if i get this monitor, should i get the display port cable or the dvi cable? This monitor doesn't have hdmi which would thus make it easy for me but it doesn't.
