    Recurring graphical artifacts on taskbar

Recently I've been having an issue with some small graphical artifacts on my taskbar. They appear in the exact same place each time. I don't think it's an issue with my GPU, considering they show up on screenshots (see attachments).

This problem only started after I had to reinstall Win 10 after a botched Ubuntu install.

It's not a huge problem but I want to get it fixed in case it becomes more serious.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the artifacts disappear when I mouse over the taskbar icons. It varies, but they usually reappear after around 30 minutes to an hour.
