You can normally set it via TV or via drivers. However, make sure youre plugged your PC onto the HDMI port that says with small text something like (DVI) or (PC) - not all the ports are "valid out of the box" for PC use in TVs.

Via HDMI you have overscan issues (without configuring TV/drivers) with aspect ratio.
Are you talking about on the PC tower or the TV? I have it set to Just Scan now.

About the TV. It should do the overscan setting correctly then and no cutting off of image / missing parts of image. It does blurry text to me to if its on "wrong" port.

And check if you can fix the TV via input list to a PC or Console -mode.

Not sure what blurry looks like for you, but when I hooked up my Samsung 32", at max res. it looked kind of washed out with the fonts and other edges looking like they had a white border around them. When I set the res. to max PC resolution it looked fine. The fix I finally discovered, after trying everything else suggested here, was to turn the Sharpness setting on the TV way down. All the fuzzy, washed outedness cleaned up. Did a display calibration in Windows again. Looks perfect now.

We put the TV away and just bought a computer monitor for the PC.
