To do a rough calibration, the Windows 10 way:
Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings > Display adaptor properties > Colour Management Tab > Colour management > Advanced Tab > Calibrate Display.

You may need to go in to the Nvidia Control Panel (AMD, Intel whatever) to check on the black level.

I assume you know the characteristics of TN display panels and their angular peculiarities.

Drivers only contain an INF file for monitor specs regarding supported resolutions etc, and a ICM colour profile. It will do nothing for such a problem.

The monitor will have a menu that allows you to adjust brightness, contrast color and such. Mine s located on the bottom Right of the frame. You can also go to your Nvidia control panel > Adjust video color settings and adjust it from there.

I think that the backlight is the problem. Do you know how to adjust the backlight ?

Since it is a new monitor, you might want to explore the settings menu and make adjustments that best suits your eyes. It's the main reason those setting options are there. Different users have different display preferences. The default settings may be too bright for you.AOC monitor-img_20180725_094154.jpeg

As has been illustrated the main control is the monitor brightness which is basically the backlight brightness.

There are 3 areas to look at.
    1) Monitor Controls.
    2) Graphics Card controls.
    3) Windows 10 controls.
Each of those will have a "brightness" control.

The basic idea is to fix 2 of those and adjust the third.

If you don't know what you are doing then as a starter position set Windows 10 to defaults, and the Graphics Card Controls the same.
    Then adjust the monitor controls.

As this is a visual thing then a text explanation is difficult.

I would read the manual for the monitor I'm sure it will explain how to adjust the brightness. This tutorial should help Adjust Screen Brightness in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
