Disply Resolution Changing for no reason

My hubby is very computer illiterate and cannot tell me what he's doing to change the resolution of the screen. When I take a look it's still showing the browser, not the desktop, but the font is much bigger and the screen does not fill up completely. Is there some shortcut hotkey combination he's accidentally hitting?

Try pressing ctrl and the zero 0 keys at the same time. If he has it zoomed etc that will put it back the default 100%. Holding the ctrl key down and moving the scroll wheel on your mouse will Zoom in or out depending on which way you move the wheel. Maybe he did that by accident? If its a laptop with a touch pad two finger touch / pinch can do it too.

and depending on browser it will remember zoom level for specific pages (Chrome does this). If he accidental set and then moved on, each time he comes back to page the zoom level returns.

crl zero does not fix it, neither touchpad pinch. I tried those. I have to go into Display settings and change the Resolution to fix it. Could it be a driver issue from a recent Windows upgrade?

What display adapter is in machine.

Does it have an icon in notification tray, might be hidden. If you open it does it show any short cut keys.

Next time it happens try restarting the graphics driver
