    Dual Monitor question/help

I'm new here (not even sure this question should be in this forum) and new to windows 10. Not a fan as I have sensitive eyes. My issue is - I use 2 monitors at work. I don't want anything on my second monitor until I put it there. The picture of my dog is on both and that's how I want it. My problem is when working on my primary monitor, if I open an attachment it automatically opens on my second monitor, meaning I have to turn my head to look at it. I don't want that to happen. Can anyone help me fix this? My display setting right now are on screen one - extend these displays and make this my main display is checked off. Screen 2 just says extend these displays. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

When you open an attachment, have you tried moving it to where you want it to open then closing it? Windows should remember that location and open it to where it was last closed.

I think I just finally fixed it. I changed the settings in Adobe reader, which is what was automatically used to open the document. I've been trying to fix this for over a month. I can't believe it. I have no idea why I decided to view Adobe preferences once it opened but I'm glad I did!

I'm glad you have it fixed. If you think it is fixed now could you please mark the thread solved?
