GT710 screen resolution
I installed a Gainward 3576 (GT710) card today and allowed the accompanying CD to do its stuff. The main reason for installing the card was to get away from the onboard graphics chipset (Intel G33/G31) and to gain an HDMi port.
I am not interested in games.
On my analogue graphics driver, I was using 1920x1080 screen resolution with 100% scaling. However, with the HDMi connection, I now find that those settings (even though they are marked as recommended) produce a tiny image with text so small that it's difficult to read. The desktop icons are also tiny and are squeezed up to the top left of the screen. To get approximately the same image as I had previously, I have to apply 150% scaling. This is acceptable but I just wondered why this difference exists. Can anyone educate me on this issue?
