Interesting but expensive. With such high frequency I would question the distance it would work reliably on thru walls and floors if they are made of bricks and/or concrete.

Not sure what Canadian Dollar is vs USA or against EUR but it seems hideously expensive - especially as it can only do 1080p so no good for 4K video.
As suggested by previous posters Google cast type of device does same thing or even an amazon TV stick -- with an amazon TV stick (it's an android device so standard android apps usually work on it) install kodi and then you can stream whatever you like (audio / video) to your remote device and the amazon fire TV stick can handle 4K as well. Far cheaper than the product on offer.
With Kodi on the amazon fire TV stick you don't even need a media server on the computer - just share the directories your multi-media files are on and start the KODI app on the firestick --then you are 100% in business.
The firestick comes with a controller as well (or you can voice control it --I hate that method though). You can also control the firestick from an android mobile phone / tablet.

$200CAD and the only thing it does is stream video? Get an $80CAD Chromecast Ultimate (with 4K) and more so much more than streaming movies.... connect your PC, listen to TuneIn or Google Play Music, watch Youtube,... and I can go on forever... :)
