Win 10 Home 1607 update - monitor display in green

Hi all. I am Afrikaans speaking so excuse some broken English.

The CEO's wife's computer is only switched on once a month when they are here. When she switched it on last month the monitor colour was washed out and had a pink tint to it. I tried fixing it but then thought it might be the monitor that is faulty. I got a new monitor and plugged it in last week Wednesday when they were here and again the same problem. Colour is correct at startup but the moment windows load the problem returns. I've been troubleshooting since then and have tried every solution I could find on the internet with no results. I have also tried every relevant solution on your forum until page 6 and then gave up.

> Did the advanced startup fixes as well and no result.

I am sure there is more that I have done but cant think of it now. I hope someone can tell me how to fix this?

Have you tried another monitor?

I bought a new monitor last month and it made no difference.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes that is also something that I tried with no success unfortunately regardless which way I adjust it I couldn't press on apply.

Where yours have Built in display mine is blank and when I click on the drop down nothing appears.

Another solution that I tried was under color management but no success because I only have printers, no monitor under devices. (If that helps)

Just a thought: if you have a different video cable (especially a known good working one from another PC) you might want to try that instead of what you're presently using for the affected monitor. I've seen this kind of thing happen when there's a fault or short in the cable. It may not make any difference, but it will be easy to try. HTH,

I replaced the monitor last month with a new one so the cable is new. I therefore have two monitors, a Samsung and an LG each with their own cables and both displaying the same way.
