Which AMD Driver for Far Cry 5?

    I have a R9 280X GPU with driver v17.11.1 I haven't updated for a while running W10 v1709.

What's the most stable AMD GPU driver supporting Far Cry 5?

I used to be able to run games at 2560x1440 resolution but Far Cry 5 won't accept this this resolution in the GPU configuration settings due to insufficient GPU memory (I have 3072MB).

You should be using the latest GPU driver anyway. You should also update 10 to 1803. Have a look here and the system requirements for that game......Far Cry 5's system requirements have been revealed | PC Gamer

Thanks - I'll just try the latest AMD driver. I'm a Luddite regarding feature updates and like to defer them for 3 months to allow Microsoft to exploit the instant upgraders / beta testers to find all the problems.

    - latest BETA Adrenalin driver has been running fine here, since release..
    - AMD site's driver page has a search function that'll pick the best driver for you..

That's the version I have but it's an old version. I looked at the AMD driver release notes and only versions from Adrenalin Edition 18.3.4 are designed to support Far Cry 5.

I prefer to manually download the driver from the manufacturer's website. You get the latest full driver.
