Help manually installing Intel 530 Graphics driver

I have an HP desktop, want to update to latest graphics driver but HP site is outdated. If I try to install from Intel it wont let me, saying not validated because it wants me to use HP version. I downloaded the zip to my downloads folder and extracted it there. Clicked Have Disk from Dev Mgr , update driver and chose igdlh64.inf. I got an error saying it found drivers but can't find file specified.

Am I suppose to copy the graphics folder into system32 or should the driver installation do that?

Any tips how to get past this error would be appreciated.

You may have to update your chipset inf files first. As it sounds like the drivers your trying to install are not for your CPU version

Please repost with more information, including the manufacturer and model of the computer and a link to the zip file you downloaded.

The issue was with corruption after a rollback of insider preview 17677.1000. I had other issues as well with other drivers. After I successfully performed an update, windows update installed an even older driver from 2016 (smh) but using the have disk option I was able to update to the latest Intel driver. I was also able to reinstall my printer driver which also had failed .

    This was my speccy pre-update
