    G-Sync laptop - How do I turn on G-Sync?

    Hi,

I have a new laptop with G-Sync but I cannot see anywhere in the Nvidia Control Panel where I can turn this feature on or off...

Some older tutorials point to a Display option in the Nvidia Control Panel but I only have the 3D Settings option...

So how do I see the G-Sync status and how do I change it?

This is all I see in my Nvidia Control Panel in version 397.93

Now I do have a laptop with both a Nvidia GTX 1070 and a intel internal graphics card. Can this be related to this issue?

Try looking in your manual that came with your laptop, I can't research your laptop, because I can't find anything written in English. Maybe you have a switch on your laptop somewhere.....no idea. I've never seen a Nvidia control panel that looks like yours .... Sorry I can't be of much more help, maybe someone else has an answer for you.

Unless it is set up by default.

It might very well be, but I suspect that the missing display tab could be because the computer runs the internal Intel graphics card by default and only switches over to the 1070 when needed...

    Tried any of these?

    1. The first way is to go to Clevo Control Center > Switch GPU > Discrete (for G-Sync) / MSYBRID (for Optimus). To finalize a change will require a restart.2. The second way is to push the F2 key many times before it loads Windows. The computer will enter BIOS. Please, arrow over to the Advanced Chipset Control and change from MSHYBRID to DISCRETE. After this, exit BIOS and save changes. The computer will restart with the GPU enabled and now you can enable G-Sync and MFAA in Nvidia control panel.
