    Resolution Problems

My Acer desktop’s monitor has resolution problems. I tried my best to fix it. It’s better than it was. Now, the text just seems too large as well as other features.

    I hope someone can help!

    Thanks!

Did you change Scaling for it ? What's the resolution ?

@CountMike: The resolution is HD (1366 x 768). I didn't change the scaling in Windows. I left it 100%. If I change it to a higher scaling percentage, it makes the text and display larger. It's an Acer S200 HQL monitor.

See what happens when you set it at 1600 x 900, text and everything should be smaller.

No problem. For the future, it's easier to control it by Scaling. Many programs including desktop itself can make size changes with Ctr + Mouse wheel up - down.

@CountMike: Ever since I had the resolution issue, the following message pops up. Also, when I turn on the computer, the monitor is set to autoconfig and the splash screen looks big still except for the Windows interface. How can I fix this?

That message is understandable, it's informing you that higher resolution is available. Must be driver function. What happens if you mark "Don't show this message again" ?
