    Geforce 310M Not recognised

Seems my W10 64bit upgrade on my Asus K52JC will only recognize the Intel Graphics and not the Geforce 310M. The latter worked fine under Win 7 but doesn't appear under Device Manager now.

Tried installing the recommended driver from the Nvidia site linked to on this forum but it stops and reports "No compatible hardware found".

    Any suggestions?

Ok now resolved this by entering BIOS and loading defaults before starting the clean install. May be a coincidence but it seemed to do the job as the fresh install from a downloaded iso identified the card and via Windows Update downloaded the latest Nvidia driver for it.

So far, no further problems with the installation, just a niggling driver problem that I have started another thread on.

I had the same issue with an ASUS X52J and reseting the BIOS to default worked also fine for me.
Before the reset I had only the intel graphic card detected, but after I had 2 graphic cards as expected and I was able to install Nvidia drivers.

Thanks for your post, it saved me a lot of time !
